How do you calculate CBM?
Multiply length × width × height in metres for one carton, then multiply by the number of cartons. A carton of 60 × 40 × 40 cm is 0.6 × 0.4 × 0.4 = 0.096 CBM; 100 of them are 9.6 CBM.
How many CBM fit in a container?
A 20ft container holds about 33 CBM inside, a 40ft about 67.7 CBM and a 40ft high cube about 76.4 CBM. In practice cartons fill 80–90% of that because of gaps at the walls and ceiling.
How do I convert CBM to cubic feet?
1 CBM is 35.315 cubic feet. 10 CBM is about 353 cubic feet.
